Before the drug paraphernalia vending machine was removed from outside NRGH ER entry, I watched THREE people, yes THREE! restock it. I can see two in order for a bit of a safety factor, but THREE? If they expected trouble in the form of attack, doesn’t that tell you the danger level of having the vending machine there in the first place? Not to mention the wages of three people to cover such a task. Meanwhile the people dozens in the ER were waiting 5, 6, and more hours to be attended to by medical staff. The cost of these programs is phenomenal and we are never given accurate numbers.
I wish the public would really pay attention to how much money is wasted on this while your parent or grandparent rots in the health care system.
