OTTAWA, Canada — Justin Trudeau’s Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc claimed he didn't receive a memo last year requiring him to publicly release a new strategy to combat hostile state interference—testimony that jars, coming just a day after Canada announced allegations that Indian diplomats and organized crime proxies are targeting Canadians with murders and violence.
My question. Why is there not a clear sign off trail between when CSIS sends a message, who to, and when they see it. They should have an exact dated calendar. A sign off signature that something has been seen and acknowledged at the very least. This lax routine is not only not believable but if true completely inefficient. So if Russia decides to invade will they know? Thank you for your work, as always.
Susan Carr, you are absolutely right, within DND protocols all messages, memos, documents and correspondence sent and received had to be acknowledged in having been received, read and acknowledged! How is it that this government is so incompetent when it comes to the safety of our Nation? Why are these MPs not held to account and a higher standard unless they are lying to cover up their own incompetence? Time and again under the so called leadership of PM Trudeau have the Liberal Government failed on so many fronts! Yes! It is time for a new Government we Canadians can trust without safety!

There seem to be a lot of staff working for a lot of Ministers and the PM who are influenced or even controlled by foreign countries. The foreign interference investigation has to go three or more levels down, to staff in Ottawa and in the Ridings. Take a look at their personal Bank accounts and internet communications.
Sigh … “I don't think it's particularly helpful to use witting, unwitting, semi-witting. I think those words understandably cast an understandable concern on these parliamentarians.”

This Liberal government has cast a dark suspicion over our entire democratic process.

I'm guessing the memo was in an envelope with a lot of other pieces of paper (notes if you will) and that is why it was overlooked.
