Misdirection. I think anyone who follows politics and know how the liberals, particularly Justin operates, this is all to bury the story of the MP rebellion going on.

Truly, there are no lows too low for this man.

I love how Pierre challenged him to release all the names right after this.

Plus, hasn't said all along that he didn't know, that there was nothing to it just to try and spin it in a political way. I mean at this point. The CPC is getting more done than the government. IRGC, Samidoun, and probably the Houthis soon. All those organizations designated terrorists after Pierre called for it.

It's not done in a responsible way but the Conservatives are forcing the government to implement laws against foreign interference and designate terror groups like they should be.

Hopefully Sam can get the exclusive when Justin tries to send the ponies after the Conservative party. I think he's capable of it to save his own skin.

Implausible denials, delivered without shame.

Openly contemptuous obtuseness and prevarication.

Deflection.

And now, projection.

What a wonderful group of people. So honest, so responsible, so decent.

I watched a clip of the Trudeau testimony this morning (as much as I could stand)....his delivery does not inspire confidence. There very well might be Conservatives on that list...it's been aluded to before. But Trudeau is spinning this as only the Conservatives have been implicated. When pushed he admitted to one Liberal and also people from other parties. So release the list.

If he knows so much about so many CPC traitors - why are we only hearing about it now, during his second round of testimony before a commission that wouldn’t have even happened if his cottage neighbour had been better at running interference as “Special” Rapporteur?

How true

Trudeau has discovered the Law of Unintended Consequences. Blame Conservatives, and the blowback is straight into his own face.

Notice how he slipped in “or are at high risk of“ it’s his way of an exit strategy, so they can be at the receiving end of foreign interference against them and the statement still holds true.

Exactly right. He is a weasel and chooses his weasel words very carefully.

Of course there are Conservative names on the list - it is only logical that a foreign power seeking to influence government would cover its bases and try to infiltrate the parties that trade being in power. It seems pretty clear that Erin O'Toole was a victim of unsuccessful foreign influence in connection with his run for leadership of the CPC although that interference may have been a factor in his unsuccessful leadership review. Almost certainly his name is in the report as a target. The list of names likely won't be that surprising to anyone paying attention to this story and following The Bureau (Sam Cooper) and The Real Story (Terry Glavin). If you aren't a subscriber, you might want to subscribe to Glavin's substack in addition to your Bureau subscription. You might want to read his June 10, 2024 submission NSICOP: Enemies on Parliament Hill. Revealing stuff.

Oh pffft! Unless he can provide fact-based evidence (which I'm certain would be disputed) he hasn't a leg to stand on. He and his band of roving muraders are pulling a Bulwinlkle and Squirrel maneuver (watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat) routine. What a moron. This, sadly, is becoming comedic; I couldn't resist it. However, let's watch how the dominoes fall, it's coming.

Thank you, Sam, for your diligence in reporting.

Trudeau is a lying weasel! He is rotten from top to bottom and right through! He will say anything to save his own flea-bitten, lousy skin and retain power! He is a narcissistic psychopath and is dangerous to Canada and Canadians. There is NOTHING he says that can be trusted. NOTHING!

100%. Dangerous to women too.

Trudeau's statement could be interpreted in multiple ways. The phrase "engaged, or at high risk of" suggests a range of possibilities, which may include both individuals who are victims of foreign interference (perhaps unaware of being targeted or manipulated) and those who might be knowingly involved in harmful activities. The wording leaves room for interpretation. Michael Chong is at high risk of foreign interference for example, as a victim.

It’s possible that some of the people mentioned might be targets of foreign influence without necessarily being complicit, while others could be more actively involved in actions that align with foreign interests. Without more specific details, it's hard to definitively say whether the individuals mentioned are victims or collaborators, or where they fall within the spectrum of engagement with foreign interference.
