54 days created a big window for them to realize who was on this list, whose communications might be captured, and to go into damage control mode: Alan Treddenick, CSIS Veteran
If only we had security and police services working for Canadians, instead of their political masters. MSM have also dropped the ball on this. We’re a second world country now.
Agreed there should be a “watergate” style of investigation. However with our current gov’t being implicated in most of this don’t count on it happening
They will obfuscate, delay, lie, cheat and do whatever is necessary to keep dear leader in power. It's all yesmen (with or without a v or a p) and sycophants are capable of. Rene Levesque was right: "Canada is over governed and ill governed"
There was a time when the RCMP commanded national pride and respect internationally! Now... they have been delighted to a hive of Thugs with Badges which a standing government uses as a blunt stick... One simply has to look at the Freedom Convoy, the Thug who obviously walked into the Rebel Reporter and bumped into Freeland's RCMP Bodyguard and was arrested Handcuffed for assaulting a police officer, who by the way failed to say he was a police officer when asked! The Thug with a Badge wasn't brought before a Disciplinary Board and reprimanded, nor was he demoted or the RCMP offer any apology. Retired RCMP Officers I know are disgusted at the heightened thuggery
A few, like you, Sam are fighting for his country and its sovereignty. Thank you. I agree with Kelly’s comment - “you can’t hate these people enough”. They are typical of what is wrong with this country - self serving sycophants who think they are smarter than everyone, know better than everyone and completely devoid of a moral compass - and I am guessing when they look in the mirror, they don’t even see it. They should all be criminally investigated and exiled from a country they destroyed. And on top of that - so many women - how absolutely foolish and criminal they are.
“Let me start by saying I’m astonished that others in the media haven’t picked up or devoted any time to this issue. It made a bit of a splash during the commission, but then it seemed to disappear."
I spend a lot of time in my car with the radio on during the daytime. On CBC and Corus, this story pretty much doesn't exist. To the extent that it's been briefly referenced in passing, mostly in the earliest days of the Commission, it was always in a "modified limited hangout" way, such that anyone unaware of the damning details wouldn't realize that the reporting has been crafted to misdirect attention and minimize the seriousness of the scandal.
Likewise on TV, the coverage at my local affiliates dropped off as the testimony became more damning, and always detoured -- artfully -- around the real story, no different than if it had been co-written by Liberal advisors in damage-control mode.
Thank goodness for Sam, who is hands-down the best source extant for this and other "problematic" (for typical reporters) stories, and for select newspaper reporters, including Robert Fife. A few years ago I used to mutter at Fife during his TV appearances, dismissing him as another Liberal errand-boy, but he has shown himself to be a true reporter who is willing to go against the grain in his very partisan ambit (with social consequences to him, I'm sure). My hat's off to him.
I was totally unaware that Ministers had authority to sign warrants, I always believed it was only courts/judges who signed warrants, production orders. This would be a perfect example why Ministers shouldn’t sign ANYTHING to do with police investigations. It’s not rocket science to clearly see the tip-offs being implemented in this particular case, but the obstruction is blatantly obvious. Our police are to be independent and politically disconnected from members of political parties. At least thats the ruse and illusion presented to the public. Our police have lost ALL trust and credibility. These liberal scandals, treasonous, embezzlement, thieving and traitors are above the law. WTF are the police? Are they that lazy and incompetent? Get out there, get those warrants & production orders in the same manner as any other crime under investigation. Stop BS Canadians! Do your duty that you swore an OATH to execute.
You can't hate these people enough. Complete betrayal of Canada for crass political gain and an insatiable need to control other people's lives.

It just never ends. There is not one, not one that can be trusted. Thank you Sam Cooper.
