Getting Brad West involved is a great idea. He is a sensible politician who takes action. I stood with him at UBCM anti CCP protest. He is the real deal and we need more like him stepping up!
There is no way to rationalize the decisions being made by judges other than pure corruption and control of the judiciary by the criminal elements. Zero.

Mr. West and Sam...the people want action and success on foreign influence and infiltration in our country. Whether you like Trump or not, the second time he has been brought to power in the states, he is showing great success in getting to the bottom of that country's ills because he is putting into place those people who bravely will fight for this issue. I have to wonder a couple of things. One is why this story never gets traction in the 'press'. and why there is no real political will to change it. I live in Nanaimo and the whole drug crisis is serious in our city. We have hired 18 new community safety offficers, 40 more firefighters and 15 more rcmp in an attempt to control what is happening in our city. Our firefighters responded to over 7500 medical incidents last year. At the end of the day between the feckless laws and the way courts deal (don't deal) the best we are doing is playing whack a mole. Drugged out soles on the street are just shuffled around and moved along. There is NO real help for the addicted and NO real enforcement of the criminal element. The only logical conclusion, is that there is no political will to solve the problem, just a bit more political double talk every now and then, but nothing changes. Trump has done more in a month than any other pressure. Misdirecting and pretending this is a trade war is being used by the polical class to divert from the real issue, which is this is about drugs not trade., I suspect many of the ruling class are in the clutches of the criminals either by accepting bribes or being threatened. It is a mess, that has taken many years to fester, but Nanaimo is a real shit magnet and we have been dealing with the crisis for years now. Last year 92 died in our community and that is with ff's and paramedics using their narcan to revive these poor souls. The provincial gov. approach of giving out free drugs, free crack pipes andhaving safe injection sites seems to just keep growing the problem. Our nurses have had to deal with addicted souls on regular wards who should not be there. Their drugs are allowed to be used and they can even smoke inside the wards. Duffern Place had one ward closed to offer beds for 12 addicts which displaced 28 'regular' patients. It is out of control and Eby talks about mandatory care, but it is just more talk talk talk.
