As China tries to spread its influence and attempts to stop Chinese dissidents from speaking out there needs to be more cooperation between democratic nations if we are to remain democratic. Canada in particular needs to be more transparent and pull away from Chinese control in order to reassert our democratic roots.

Hopefully Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) does not push too many Canadians to vote for a candidate that would pull us closer to the CCP and Xi Jinping. No fan of the US Empire and Trump, but if you think Trump is a bully ask the Filipinos, Japanese, Koreans, Taiwanese and Vietnamese what they think about the CCP and Xi. As someone who lived in East Asia for 15 years I know that China will bully around countries as surely as the US does.

I would quite confidently state that if you asked Canadians who they fear more…… Trump or Xi ? Hands down it would be Trump. Canada is lost & 80% of the country has no clue as to what China is up to.
